Bluff Master
‘Bluff Master’ is a heist thriller starring Sathyadev of ‘Jyothi Lakshmi’ fame. A crook, the greedy male lead is after money and power in the remake.
A hero-oriented thriller, how the film plays out the muddled morals of the hero can be interesting to watch. For aggressive characterizations to work, you need an actor with a forceful screen presence. Sathyadev, hopefully, is one.
Nandita Swetha of ‘Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada’ fame gets to play a romantic role. Aditya Menon, Prudhvi, Brahmaji, Sijju (as a cop), Chaitanya Krishna, Dhanraj, Srirama Reddy, Venu Gopala Rao, Fish Venkat, Bunny Chandu and others are part of the cast.
The story is by H Vinoth, the Kollywood director of ‘Khakee’ fame (the film is a remake).
Directed by Gopiganesh Pattabhi (who also pens the dialogues), its music is by Sunil Kashyap. Cinematography is by Dasarathi Sivendra. Editing is by Naveen Nooli and art direction is by Brahma Kadali.
